Richie Saunders becomes’ viral ‘after ESPN’ Teter Tot Tale ‘Viral’
Kansas City, Mon. -In of the second half of the Big 12 championship game in Kansas-UCF, the commentators have a fact about a BYU player who immediately became viral.
Sean Farnham came from a break and told the world about the family of Richie Saunders, which was unknown to most.

The names and jokes rolled from there. Richie “Tater dead” Saunders. Richie “Give me your Tots” Saunders. King of the Tots.
One reason why the story achieved so much traction was Saunders’ excellent game this season. In his last ten games, Saunder has achieved an average of over 18 points to 53 percent from the field and 40 percent compared to three.
To round off the whole, he led BYU in the semi -finals of the Big 12 tournament with 23 points in another efficient excursion. Of course, after the victory, he leaned into the newly discovered fame.
BYU decreases the state of Iowa, progress in the BIG 12 semi -final
The good times for BYU basketball in the state of Iowa in the Big 12 tournament quarter -finals. Byu defeated the Cyclones 96-92, most points that a team wrote against an ISU team from TJ Otzelberger.

Richie Saunders First Team All-Big 12, most improved players
Saunders ended the 20-game Big 12 season with 17.9 points per game, the first in the 3-point field target percentage with 45.1%and with 52.4%fifth fifth goal percentage.
Last season Saunders was seen as “glue” by the bank. Under head coach in the first year Kevin Young, Saunders performed one of the best players in the Big 12 conference this season.
Saunders had 10 games this season, in which he scored more than 20 points. Remarkably, eight of these 10 games with over 20 points were against the BIG 12 conference opponents.
“I would only like to congratulate Richie Saunders for the first team All-Big 12 and the most improved players, EGOR (Demin) as an honorable mention of all-League and first semester of the first team in the Big 12,” said Byu head coach Kevin Young. “I thought we had some other people who deserved, but happy for these boys.”
The 6-foot 5 junior from Riverton, Utah, was convincing for Big 12 players of the year. However, this recognition was given to JT Toppin by Texas Tech.
Toppin, a transfer from the University of New Mexico, was among the top three of the Big 12 in the goals, rebounds and Field Goal this season.
